What Happens When You Call Us for an Emergency
Not everything that goes wrong with an HVAC system needs an emergency response, but some situations do: heat failing during a hard freeze, cooling going out during a heat advisory, a gas odor around the furnace, sparks or smoke from the equipment, or water actively spreading through the home. When any of these come up, holding out for a routine visit puts either your family's safety or your property at risk, so we move dispatch to the top of the list.
Safety comes first the moment we walk in — we rule out gas leaks, electrical hazards and fire risk before we touch anything else. From there, the process is the same careful diagnosis we use on any call: test to find the actual failed part instead of guessing, walk you through what we found, and handle the repair on the spot when the parts are already on the truck.
If the part we need isn't with us, we'll get the system into a safe holding pattern — shutting down whatever poses a risk while leaving the rest running if possible — and rush the ordering process. You'll hear from us at every stage instead of being left to wonder what's happening.
